My review of the new book about writer E.H. Visiak has been published in Abraxas Abraxas was started by Paul Newman in the early 1990's as a periodical centred on the writings of Colin Wilson. It expanded into a full size paperback book two years ago. I have contributed a number of articles to it over the years. Sadly the current edition will be the last as Paul has had a health scare and needs to reduce his workload so I hope it will be as well supported as possible. I have added a link to its publisher in the links section of this site
Following the success of the 2008 Grimsby St Hugh's Festival, I have been persuaded to make this an annual event. Consequently, I have resigned as Artistic Director of the Late Music Festival to free up time to develop St Hughs. I will however stay involved with the Late Music Festival in an advisory capacity.
I have finally got my myspace site sorted. Please have a look and a listen - www.myspace.com/davidpower

The Grismby St Hugh's Festival went extremely well with nearly 500 visitors. I would like to thank everyone for their help and support and also the many people who have urged me to make this an annual event.
My Artwork Abstract Music *1 has been accepted for the open exhibition at Doncaster Music and Art Gallery and will be on display there until Christmas.
I will do another update in about a month's time so please keep checking back
